Works directly on InDesign HTML exports and convert zipped filed to WP post, by:

InDesign HTML 2 Post

We are using this at our press / edition company: it saved us 75% of the time needed before to create posts under wordpress from PDF files. Works with Adobe InDesign CC 2016 to creative cloud 2019, but should work with any version, it's just a matter of styling titles, subtitles, legends and images.
