Numerous disappearances of children and minors on an annual basis in Serbia are an alarm that is rightly ignored. Nothing is known about the disappearances of many, but only a small number of them, thanks to the involvement of their families, reach social networks and the media, when the public search actually begins.
The idea for the WordPress plugin was created with the aim of sharing information about missing persons to everyone who wants to contribute to our fight for child safety. We also have mobile apps available for Android and iOS.
The Register of <a href="https://www.nestalisrbija.rs/" rel="nofollow ugc">Missing Persons of Serbia</a> was launched in June 2017. The goal of starting the register is the visibility of a large number of missing persons whose data and photos, apart from police records, are not available to the public. The Center is of the opinion that with such an approach, non-transparency, the general public cannot get involved in the search and contribute to the search for missing persons, primarily minors. By launching the register – the only database of missing persons from the territory of Serbia, the Center also raises public awareness about missing persons as an everyday occurrence.
<h4>How to use this plugin?</h4>
After installation and activation, you should get a new page Missing Persons, which contains a shortcode

that displays a list of missing persons with search and all other functionalities.
If this page does not exist, create it and place a shortcode

</code></pre>
in the content. Then in WP Admin visit the Missing Persons option located on the left in the admin navigation and select your missing persons page and save. In these settings you also can set a custom permalinks.
After that, your plugin should work without any problems.
This plugin also supports widgets that display missing persons lists.
<h4>Report missing person</h4>
In order to report a missing person, it is necessary to create a report form.
You will do this by creating a new page and place shortcode

that will display the report missing person form on your site.

This plugin has support and compatibility with <a href="https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/" rel="ugc">Yoast SEO</a>.
This plugin is intended for templates based on Twitter Bootstrap CSS framework.
If you need to create your own style for this plugin, you need to create new directory inside your active theme named <code>registar-nestalih</code>, copy everything from the directory <code>/wp-content/plugins/registar-nestalih/templates</code> inside it, and by modifying these files you will be able to customize the display of the content.
