Upload text-truncator.php and other files compressed in the zip folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
Go to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Truncator.
Configure the options by setting a selector and height.
