Advanced Custom Blocks

This is a good start, even though some much needed things are missing to make this a really a 10 out of 5 stars (if that makes sense!!!).

1. Color picker,
2. File picker (for images for example),
3. Export all the resulting code for all or some of the blocks created with this plugin, so the blocks can be inserted in a theme or plugin for a new website without the need to recreate everything for each site, and without having to resort to export/import. In other words generate the php, js, etc... code just like ACF (Advance Custom Fields) does, so plugin and theme developers can utilize the blocks within their products easily.

If shortcodes are eventually going away (so as widgets and custom fields btw...), and we are stuck with the blocks disaster, this would be a great help to somewhat easily convert the shortcodes to blocks. If Automattic had any concerns not to alienate developers like me, and make the Gutenberg's adoption more acceptable, they should had included a tool to convert all the existing shortcodes to blocks, or at the very leasy descent documentation for people who don't know 30 dozens JavaScript libraries! I hope that this plugin will eventually fill that gap and find a way to help out the developers who are only used to making shortcodes using php, html and CSS.

Thanks a million for this what it seems a very promising step to solve the blocks creation problem.

Fantastic support


I push Kadence blocks pretty hard, and invariably break something, but EVERY TIME I go to support with my weird need they come up with a solution that's simple and elegant.  Love it.


Excellent functionality, excellent support


I have been adapting to Kadence Blocks for a while, and recently, their support for Query Loops and Dynamic Elements improved a lot. The support team is responsive and helpful in sorting things out. I would highly request a source code display block for Kadence, one of the missing elements of many extensive block collections. Overall, they did an excellent job, even in the free version. I hoped they would make a rating block for dynamic data (ACF/Metabox) usage.

Just use Kadence, it's the missing piece, and last time you should ever need to look at WordPress themes. Happy with everything they've built so far, and everything they evolve from feedback. Truly the best find in all my web design years.

This set of blocks are fantastic, but the best value is the support. I made three or four technical questions to support, and they responded me very accurate and fast, and in one of these questions, they added the needed filter to the plugin that they released the next day. Stunning and awesome support!!!


Fantastic support and very fast


The plugin is the most important enhancement for the block editor for developing corporate websites. We have been using it for several years on dozens of projects. Apart from that, the support is also great: I received a perfect customized solution for a special request on the same day.

I also have the PRO version of the plugin. After doing at least 30 sites with them, I have come to the conclusion that it is very comfortable but on some things we are still not there. It is full of bugs, even basic ones, it is not as performant as before. If you have complex pages you are forced to wait!



And it is not the server's fault because I am on a PC with 128GB of memory locally with a top processor and graphics card. It's just that it's not performing. You have to work on this, otherwise the product is nice but not usable.

The plugin is an essential part of my WP site stack. It works, kinks are sorted out with time.



Some features are rolled out slower than others, but the same can be said of any other software or plugin.

Kadence Blocks works great with any theme and of course exceptionally well with the Kadence theme.
