This plugin allows the user to define AWS access keys and allows other plugins to hook into it and use the AWS SDK that’s included.
The plan was for this plugin to be a dependency of several plugins and all could use the same AWS SDK. We realized however that there are <a href="https://deliciousbrains.com/wp-offload-s3-1-6-released/?utm_campaign=WP%2BOffload%2BS3&utm_source=wordpress.org&utm_medium=free%2Bplugin%2Blisting&utm_content=AWS" rel="nofollow ugc">problems with this idea</a> and we’ve taken <a href="https://deliciousbrains.com/wp-offload-s3-1-6-released/?utm_campaign=WP%2BOffload%2BS3&utm_source=wordpress.org&utm_medium=free%2Bplugin%2Blisting&utm_content=AWS" rel="nofollow ugc">another approach</a>.
This plugin was used by our plugins (<a href="https://deliciousbrains.com/wp-offload-s3/?utm_campaign=WP%2BOffload%2BS3&utm_source=wordpress.org&utm_medium=free%2Bplugin%2Blisting&utm_content=AWS" rel="nofollow ugc">WP Offload S3</a> and <a href="https://wordpress.org/plugins/amazon-s3-and-cloudfront/" rel="ugc">WP Offload S3 Lite</a>) but it is almost certainly used by other plugins we’re not aware of. So although it is no longer needed for our plugins, we’ll leave it here for others.

Amazon Web Services

I am very impressed with this plugin, and I am using only the free version along with its companion WP Offload S3. I like how they are transparent - you don't even realize it is there and behaves as if you were saving everything locally. There have been a few bugs here and there, but the team addresses them quickly.



Fantastic - transparent functionality

Takes a bit of tweaking, but all around does what it advertises.
