<h3>External Services</h3>
This plugin connects to external APIs and services that you configure yourself. No external service is contacted by default — connections only occur when you explicitly add an endpoint URL in the plugin’s admin settings and that endpoint is requested on your site.
What data is sent: 
The plugin makes HTTP requests (GET, POST, etc.) to the API URLs you configure. The request may include any custom HTTP headers you specify (such as API keys or Bearer tokens). No data is sent to any third-party service by Apitect API Feed Display itself — all API calls go directly to the URL you enter.
When data is sent: 
A request is made to your configured API URL when: 
– A page/post containing the <code>[apitect_feed]</code> shortcode or the Gutenberg block is loaded by a visitor. 
– You use the “Test” button in the admin panel to preview a response. 
– A sidebar widget configured with an endpoint is displayed.
Responses are cached using WordPress Transients to reduce repeated API calls (configurable per endpoint; default 300 seconds).

<h4>WordPress CSV Imports</h4>
Read on to learn more about the CSV importer functionality of WP All Import. Importing CSVs with WP All Import is exactly the same as importing XML files because internally, WP All Import actually converts your CSV file to an XML file on the fly. You can use the same XPath filtering options and all the same features you have when importing XML files.
CSV imports, including those exported from Excel and Google Sheets, don’t require your file to have a specific structure. Your CSV file can use any column names/headings. You can map the columns in your CSV file to the appropriate places in WordPress during the import process.
When importing CSV files, your CSV should have UTF-8 encoding if you are having trouble importing special characters.
In step 2 of a CSV import, you can specify an alternative delimiter if you aren’t using a comma. WP All Import can import CSVs that are pipe-delimited, # delimited, or delimited/separated by any other character.

Importing data is always challenging but this plugin makes life WAY easier, especially when it comes to dealing with commerce data imports.  The ability to use my own PHP functions to format or adjust data at runtime is a life saver.
