The plugin automatically hides unused Admin Menu items and adds search box for menu items
If you use a lot of plugins – each of them adds their own admin menu item. The admin menu grows more and more. And though you don’t use the majority of menu items, they bother you to find the certain menu item. 
This small plugin solves this issue AUTOMATICALLY. It means you don’t need to enable or disable some menu items manually. If you use a menu item it is on the menu if you don’t use it a certain time (which you can set in the settings) – it will be hidden but you’ll have access to them anyway.

Admin Menu Search is a simple plugin that adds a search box filter to the top of the Admin Menu in the WordPress Dashboard. No more scrolling up and down or using your browser’s Ctrl+F or Find function to locate menu items.
Just enter a few characters in the Search Menus field and the Admin Menu will be trimmed down to only the items that match your search.
Submenus are also included in the search, so if you’re looking for “Widgets” it will keep the “Appearance” menu in the list because Widgets lives under Appearance / Widgets.

Doesn't handle top admin menu or trimming submenus.  It also doesn't remove dividers.


OK but online handles left side top level


I wish more plugin authors had herchen's keep-it-simple sense of software aesthetics. No notice boxes, zero config, does one thing and does it well. Thanks!
