<h3>Troubleshooting Feed Updates</h3>
<p>If new episodes appear in your RSS feed but do not import right away:</p>
<ul>
<li>Go to Tools > Auto Podcast Import > Debug.</li>
<li>Select the feed and click “Test live fetch now”.</li>
<li>Check the fetch URL, HTTP status, cache headers, item count, latest episode title, latest GUID, and latest publish date.</li>
<li>Use “Run now” from the feeds list to force a fresh import. Run now bypasses stored XML data and fetches the remote feed again.</li>
<li>If a podcast host returns an episode date in the future while the feed is set to publish posts immediately, the plugin will clamp that publish date to the current time so WordPress does not schedule it for later.</li>

Excellent little plugin that creates posts from a podcast RSS feed. I'd love it if there was a mapping function that would allow (for example) pushing the audio file into a custom field. Great work folks!

<p>This plugin allows you to sync your Pinecast podcast (or any JSONFeed-compatible podcast) with your WordPress blog.</p>
<p>Please see Pinecast’s <a href="https://pinecast.support/en/articles/3072843-pinecast-wordpress-sync-plugin" rel="nofollow ugc">support website</a> for more information.</p>
<p>After installing, visit Settings > Pinecast to add feeds. Add your Pinecast RSS feed URL (found on your podcast dashboard), along with the podcast’s name (for your reference), categories that you wish to be applied to each episode’s post, and whether you’d like to include episode artwork in the posts. Save changes.</p>
<p>Once your podcast is added, you can press the Sync button to import episodes. Episodes will sync automatically every hour.</p>
