<p>Meta has retired the old Customer Chat Plugin SDK. Plugchat 3.0 is rebuilt around Meta’s current system: you copy the embed code from Meta Business Suite and paste it into the plugin settings. That’s it — no API keys, no app IDs, no SDK configuration.</p>

<h4>Important Note</h4>
<p>Meta (Facebook) deprecated the legacy Customer Chat Plugin SDK. The old method (entering a Page ID) no longer works for new setups because Meta shut down the SDK endpoint. This is a Meta platform decision and is outside this plugin’s control.</p>
<p>Plugchat 3.0 solves this by using Meta’s current embed code system. If you were using the old version, your settings are preserved and you can reference them while migrating.</p>
