bbPress and the Genesis Framework are both fantastic additions to any WordPress site. However, depending on your setup they don’t always play nice right away.
bbPress Genesis Extend does some behind-the-scenes tweaks and fixes to make bbPress/Genesis integration as quick and painless as possible.
Additionally, this plugin also:

<li>Adds option to control the layout of your forum, separate from Genesis</li>
<li>Adds Genesis Layout Controls for Forums</li>
<li>If a forum has a specific layout set, all topics in that forum will use that layout.</li>

The forum sidebar and layout options are located on the Genesis Settings page, look for ‘bbPress’.

I just HAD to chime in and give you some props for this plugin! It saved my day!
I was seeing some very strange behavior when setting up my bbPress forum within a Genesis Child theme and started Googling only to find that you've solved the issues with your plugin.

Ran into a strange conflict where the main forum index page (/forums) was not displaying correctly on several Genesis themes. This plugin solved the issue.

Genesis Columns Advanced is nearing the end of its life. The plugin was built for the Classic Editor and is not needed in the block Editor (Gutenberg). Critical support will still be provided in the support forum, but the plugin is no longer being actively developed. Consider transitioning to the native WordPress Columns block.
This plugin was originally designed to generate shortcodes for every column configuration available with the column classes provided by the <a href="http://www.studiopress.com" rel="nofollow ugc">Genesis Framework</a>, hence the name. We are pleased to announce that as of version 2.0, the plugin is completely standalone and does not require Genesis. The plugin now loads its own CSS styles, which can be disabled if you desire. See the FAQ for more details. By moving away from Genesis, we have been able to add new features, such as the inclusion of fifths, and it opens the door to more enhancements in the future!
Shortcodes are easily added using a custom button in your WordPress editor. They can also be added manually if you so choose. See the FAQ for more details. Check out the video below for a short demo on the plugin.

Genesis Columns Advanced

Good plugin, makes the task for column widths quick and simple. Rather than typing classes for text widgets, and wondering what to do with other widgets, simply use this plugin. I recommend it.

Also, the author is responsive to queries posted on these support forums, which can often be quite important for these sorts of plugins.
