bbPress and the Genesis Framework are both fantastic additions to any WordPress site. However, depending on your setup they don’t always play nice right away.
bbPress Genesis Extend does some behind-the-scenes tweaks and fixes to make bbPress/Genesis integration as quick and painless as possible.
Additionally, this plugin also:

<li>Adds option for a forum specific sidebar</li>
<li>Adds option to control the layout of your forum, separate from Genesis</li>
<li>Adds Genesis Layout Controls for Forums</li>
<li>If a forum has a specific layout set, all topics in that forum will use that layout.</li>
<li>Adds Genesis SEO Controls for Forums</li>
<li>Adds option to disable bbPress Forum and Topic descriptions.</li>
</ul>
The forum sidebar and layout options are located on the Genesis Settings page, look for ‘bbPress’.

I was seeing some very strange behavior when setting up my bbPress forum within a Genesis Child theme and started Googling only to find that you've solved the issues with your plugin.

Ran into a strange conflict where the main forum index page (/forums) was not displaying correctly on several Genesis themes. This plugin solved the issue.

Genesis Simple Share is created to be simple and easy to use within your Genesis child theme. We have tried to focus on making default options and initial setup a breeze.
The default settings should automatically enable the share icons on posts. You may wish to make some changes so in your WordPress dashboard hover over the Genesis menu item and click the Simple Share menu item in that submenu.
Once there you can choose which post types Simple Share will be active on, if it should show on archives, and which icons to enable. You can also drag and drop the icons to change the order they will display in on your site. You may wish to add your Twitter user name to the twitter icon settings. This will add a via: @username after the share text on Twitter. You may also add a URL to an image to use as the default image.
