<p>This Plugin integrates the Google reCAPTCHA Service Modul in the BuddyPress Template Page ‘register.php’. The file is located in ‘/wp-content/themes/{name}/registration/register.php’. The plugin adds the new feature by adding an action on ‘bp_before_registration_submit_buttons’. Therefore the ‘register.php’ must contain the line ‘do_action( ‘bp_before_registration_submit_buttons’ )’. My one was generated with the famous plugin <a href="https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/bp-template-pack/" rel="ugc">BuddyPress Template Pack</a>. It makes a normal WordPress-Template ready for use with <a href="https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/buddypress/" rel="ugc">BuddyPress</a>. The missing files in the template will be added.</p>

<li>at the beginning of the ‘bp-recaptcha.php’ are some variables to add/change the <a href="https://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin/create" rel="nofollow ugc">reCAPTCHA Api keys</a>, style of reCAPTCHA, language and texts</li>

<p>Notice: The installation of this plugin will require additional work. Edit the ‘bp-recaptcha.php’ file to make your settings.</p>

We use Human Presence on our websites. Human Presence is like an invisible shield on your website. It silently and anonymously detects human interactions on your website and provides protection for your website when someone submits a form or event post comments. It is super easy to set up!

I can highly recommend this product!

Spam Protection Like None Other


I manage some high reputation sites that have been bombarded with contact form spam. I use (and love) Gravity Forms and despite taken every effort we could (honeycomb, captcha, akismet, etc) spam still made it's way through. My expectations for Human Presence were low, but IT WORKS! Spam has gone to zero on every site we manage. I've only used with Gravity Forms, so cannot speak to other integrations. The setup and configuration was super easy as there are very few settings. I would recommend giving Human Presence a try.



My rating is a 4 stars because on occasion some real users are viewed as spam and the form either loads indefinitely (stalls) or results in a Critical Error which I have yet to be able to resolve.
