<p>Use [cvmh-catblock]<br />
If you want to disable a parameter which is on true by default, put an empty string. Example: [cvmh-catblock slideshow=””]</p>

<li>introduction: text before posts list (default: empty)</li>
<li>category: array of category ids to use (default: empty, all categories will be used)</li>
<li>count: number of psts to display (default: 3, set to -1 if you want all posts)</li>
<li>buttonall: weither to display a link to the category (default: true, only if category has parameter has only one category id)</li>
<li>alltext: text of the “all button” (default: See all)</li>
<li>posttype: post type to get (default: post)</li>
<li>showimage: weither to display the post thumbnail (default: false)</li>
<li>imagesize: size of the post thumbnail (default: thumbnail)</li>

Great Plugin

I use the pro version of this plugin and it is truly one of the best, most useful plugins out there. There's no bloat. It doesn't load you down with a bunch of crappy templates or anything like that. It just focuses on providing you all the options you could need for searching and filtering content and leaves the rest to you. I am always pleasantly surprised that when I want to do some weird thing with filtering I find that this plugin already has the ability to do it.

Excellent plugin with excellent support


I would love to say this plugin is awesome. I really would. It has some great functionality out of the box. I need to drop it a star and a half because it overlooks a few fundamental priorities that would be easy to fix but they don's seem to want to bother with. First, their is no way to alter the html template of the outputted form, or give you a way to segment it into sections. This creates a huge drag trying to style a single flowing list of elements <ul><li></li></ul>. This would be easy to solve and there are several requests for styling help. Second, the pro support is not very good. I was not able to find a way to contact them on my account page so came and left a review instead.
