With Chrono Cloud you will be able to add a third cloud to your archives page: A cloud based on time.
Just as categories can be viewed as a tag cloud through the use if the <code>taxonomy=category</code> argument to 
the <code>wp_tag_cloud</code> function, this plugin provides a similar functionality, displaying each month with posts as 
a tag in a cloud.
Example usage in e.g. <code>archives.php</code>:

Chrono Cloud

A function providing a tag cloud like view of monthly archives.

dancoded

Display monthly archives as a list of links or a dropdown jump-menu (automatically navigate to page when selected).
Includes advanced options to display post counts, add CSS styles and modify the title.
Replaces the built in Archives Widget (WP_Widget_Archives).
A hook is available to filter the title: <code>dmg_archives_widget_title</code>.
For example, to change the title on a single page or post, you could add this to your functions.php file:
