<p>The new role “WPB Comment Moderator” is created on your site to allow you to give users access only to the comment moderation screen. Unlike the WordPress default settings, a comment moderator is not required to be able to author posts, so you can keep your content secure.</p>
<p>The Comment Moderator can approve, decline, or edit any comments on any post.</p>
<p>This plugin also allows your Authors and Contributors to moderate comments on the posts they wrote. That means your guest authors can continue interacting with their readers, without getting access to other articles or comments.</p>

<p>Once this plugin is activated, simply edit a user’s profile and change their role to WPB Comment Moderator. This will grant them access only to the comment moderation screens within WordPress, keeping the rest of your site secure.</p>

<p>This plugin is built for and requires <a href="https://github.com/Automattic/o2" rel="nofollow ugc">O2</a> to be installed.</p>
<p>This plugin allows you to mark a selected comment as the one that effectively sums up the conversation from the thread. This is great for disucssions that require a final decision to be made, support threads where one comment has the best solution, and a host of other uses.</p>
<p>Functionality includes:</p>

<li>Marking a chosen comment as the ‘top comment’</li>
<li>The top comment is displayed at the top of the comment list with a ‘view in context’ anchor link</li>
<li>The top comment is also highlighted in context in the thread</li>
<li>Only one comment can be selected as the top comment</li>

<li>Only users who are able to edit the post can select a top comment</li>
