<p>This plugin is a fork of <code>Disable All WordPress Updates</code> plugin. Like that plugin, Core Updates Permission completely disables the theme, plugin and core update checking system in WordPress. The plugin prevents WordPress from checking for updates including cronjobs, and prevents any notifications from being displayed. The one significant difference is that this plugin also allows you to pick and choose administrators that <em>can</em> have the ability to make updates.</p>
<p>It’s <em>very</em> important that you keep your WordPress theme, core and plugins up to date. If you don’t, your blog or website could be <strong>susceptible to security vulnerabilities</strong> or performance issues.</p>
<p>If you use this plugin, it’s a good idea to give one administrator the ability to see update notifications to keep up to date with new releases of your active WordPress version, plugins and themes and update them as new versions are released.</p>

Generaxion

<p>The plugin contains the features and settings generally deemed to be the most commonly used in all projects. It is meant to be used together with <a href="https://github.com/generaxion/axio-starter" rel="nofollow ugc">axio-starter</a> but functions on its own as well. <p>The <em>style guide</em> subfeature overrides the WP function <code>the_content()</code> with default markup for testing the most common tag styles, when the GET parameter ‘?ac-debug=styleguide’ is found in the url. You can however replace this markup with a filter:</p>

<p>The <em>wireframe</em> subfeature adds outlines to all elements on page to help with visual debugging, when the GET parameter ‘?ac-debug=wireframe’ is found in the url. It also appends ‘?ac-debug=wireframe’ to the href value in all anchor tags on the page to keep the feature enabled during navigation.</p>

<h4>Disable feature/subfeature</h4>
<p>By default all the features/subfeatures are on, but you can disable the ones you don’t want with filters in theme or plugin. Here is a minimal code snippet you can use to disable features:</p>
