<p>The Official MailerLite signup forms plugin makes it easy to grow your newsletter subscriber list from your WordPress blog or website. The plugin automatically integrates your WordPress form with your MailerLite email marketing account.</p>
<p>If you don’t have MailerLite account yet, <a href="https://www.mailerlite.com/" rel="nofollow ugc">you can signup for a FREE trial here</a>.</p>
<p>Once you activate the plugin, you’ll be able to select and add any of the pre-built webforms from your MailerLite account or create a new form from scratch. You can place the form in the sidebar using a widget or use a shortcode to put it wherever you want.</p>
<p>Setup is fast and easy! You just need to enter your MailerLite account API code and you’re all set.</p>

MailerLite – Signup forms (official)


	I got errors on activation and errors on trying to create a form, which I reported in the WordPress support forum. No response after over a month.
	The widget quit working, as I also described in the support request. 
	The link for where to get the API key, doesn't go to the place to get an API key. It's apparently trying to do a search of your help system, but the search fails, so basically it's just a link to the help system.
	When designing a form in the plugin:
	The label for the firstname field is "Name". So you have "Name" and "Last Name".
	There's no way to customize the field labels.
	There's no way to specify that we want a checkbox field for the user to select groups.
	There's no way to specify which fields are required vs. optional.
	It asks which groups as the first step before creating the form, when that could just be part of editing the form, so that screen is unnecessary.
	The default form description is "Just simple MailerLite form!". This is a poor default both because it's ungrammatical, and because nobody would want this to appear above their form.
	The default success message is "Thank you for sign up!" which is ungrammatical.
	There's no option for a consent checkbox as required by GDPR.


There's a lot wrong and a lot missing

This is a good plugin to add a for fairly quick and easy. If you are trying to do anything more, you will run out of luck fast. There are no settings or useful code hooks (actions or filters) for customizing redirect to landing page or other useful tricks with forms. 

Good but only for a very basic integration

I remained unable to use this plugin and related service due to errors on both and no one replies to the support questions.

Not recommended at all.

Poorly developed and no support.


The plugin does not work correctly with the new block based checkout. There are some issues regarding this from mora than 3 months with no resolution 😕
