The “Current Post Shortcode” plugin allows you to display post titles and custom field values using simple shortcodes. You can display the current post’s title or meta information, or specify a post ID to retrieve data from a specific post.

Current Post Shortcode

The Current Post Shortcode plugin allows you to display the current post's title and metadata using simple shortcodes.

This is a simple plugin that prepends any category names to the front of the 
title when viewed from the front page. It does this in the form:
[Category Name] Post Title
The current version prepends any categories that are associated with the post.

Category Title Prefix

Prepends the category name to the post title when viewed on the front page.
