Custom Role Creator plugin allows you to add or change user roles and capabilities easily. You can add new role or edit existing role. You can add capabilities to a role or change a roles’ capability. 
Just turn on check boxes of capabilities you wish to add to the selected role and click “Save Capabilities” button to save your changes. Add new role and customize its’ capabilities according to your needs. You can add role from scratch or as a copy of other existing role. 
An unnecessary role can be deleted. If there is no use for this role, you can delete that role. That’s it.

– Create new role as a copy existing role capabilities.

– Delete unnecessary role. 
– Assign capabilities to individual users’.

Custom Role Creator (CRC) uses <a href="https://appsero.com" rel="nofollow ugc">Appsero</a> SDK to collect some telemetry data upon user’s confirmation. This helps us to troubleshoot problems faster & make product improvements.

Post Lockdown protects your site-critical pages and posts by disabling all non-admin users’ ability to trash or delete them. 
It can also lock pages and posts, which will disable editing of the post as well as disabling trashing/deleting.
The plugin adds a new options page under the Settings menu in your WordPress admin panel which allows you to quickly search and 
select for all pages and posts of any post type. When you find the item you want to select, simply click it to move it to the right 
box and click Save Changes.

Post Lockdown

Works very well, my only criticism is that private posts/pages should be lockable, ie private posts should appear in the search form.

In order to lock them currently you need to publish them, then lock/portect, and then make it private again

Update!! the developer added the minor feuature request/bug. This plugin is now perfect!
