<p>Just like the way you can create custom page templates, this plugin enables you to build custom taaxonomy archive templates by adding this bit to the top of your file:</p>

<p>where {Taxonomy Singular Label} should be replaced with the singular label registered for the taxonomy (for example “Category” or “Tag”). Now when you’re adding or editing terms in that taxonomy, you can choose the desired template file.</p>
<p>You can safely include this plugin in your theme and ship custom templates for taxonomy archives with the theme.</p>

<p>This plugin allows you to select your “From”, and “To” Taxonomies, to convert all terms. Optionally select a parent term to limit terms to switch. Typing term names will do a live search of terms with the name you are typing AND possess child terms.</p>
<p>Plugin also has built-in support for <a href="http://wp-cli.org/" rel="nofollow ugc">WP-CLI</a>. In the command line, type in <code>wp taxonomy-switcher</code> for instructions.</p>

Not sure the forum policy on swearing on here, but this plugin is chuffing amazing, saved my bottom recently as I imported ~7000 term into the wrong taxonomy, and it transferred it over no fuss.

This saved my bottom!

Don't let the small number of active installs fool you: This tool does what it says and does it well. Once the data is modified, most people (like myself) probably uninstall it.
