DeMomentSomTres WordPress Export Posts With Images was build because <a href="https://www.demomentsomtres.com/en/" rel="nofollow ugc">DeMomentSomTres Digital Marketing Agency</a> had a customer with a very big blog that had to be imported with all attachments.
This plugin is a modified version of the export procedure.
Standard export procedure can be recovered unistalling or deactivating this plugin.

Life Saver

When searching for a plugin on WordPress to resolve the issue if exporting and importing the media library, this plugin doesn't come up. However, once I found it via some forum comments on page 4 of a Google query I was desperate enough to give it a try. 

The plugin worked, though it did seem to lock up the new site for several minutes. I checked back after 20 minutes and all images had been uploaded to the Media Library. For me it worked and now I'm removing it. Gràcies!

<a href="https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/32230" rel="nofollow ugc">This feature has been added into the core of WordPress 4.4</a>. You can now export your attachments by going to Tools->Export and select ‘Media’ as the export type.
Original Description
WP Attachment Export allows you to export your media library into a WordPress eXtended RSS or WXR file. You can then use the Tools->Import function in another WordPress installation to import the media library.
