<p>This plugin adds a WooCommerce payment method that completes checkout without a real payment provider. Orders are saved and marked paid like a normal purchase, only the payment is fake.</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Admin-only</strong> – Only users who can <code>manage_woocommerce</code> (typically administrators and shop managers) see the method at checkout. Guests and customers never see it.</li>
<li><strong>Paid immediately</strong> – Orders complete as if payment succeeded. Stock updates, emails, and other post-payment behavior run as usual.</li>
<li><strong>Works everywhere you check out</strong> – Shortcode/classic checkout and the Cart & Checkout blocks.</li>

<h3>Usage</h3>
<ol>
<li>Sign in as a user with the <strong>Shop manager</strong> or <strong>Administrator</strong> role (or any role that includes <code>manage_woocommerce</code>).</li>
<li>Add products to the cart and open checkout.</li>
<li>Choose the test payment method in the checkout, the default label is <strong>Test order (fake payment)</strong> unless you changed it under the gateway settings.</li>
<li>Place the order. You are redirected to the order received (thank-you) page; the order is recorded as paid.</li>
</ol>
<p>You can customize the <strong>Title</strong> and <strong>Description</strong> shown at checkout under <strong>WooCommerce <span aria-hidden="true" class="wp-exclude-emoji">→</span> Settings <span aria-hidden="true" class="wp-exclude-emoji">→</span> Payments <span aria-hidden="true" class="wp-exclude-emoji">→</span> Test order (admin only)</strong>.</p>

This is another useless plugin on Wordpress. One can create a staging but can't push the staging to Production/Live website. This is another money making trick by plugin developer. First they trap the people without mentioning that this plugin can't push staging to live and once they are done with staging site they have to buy the plugin to push it to production. Its Useless, I will say.

I have tried all the well-known staging and backup plugins over the last few years.



After using a different plugin for years, I was convinced by WP Staging and since then, I wouldn't want to be without it.
