<p>This plugin gives you the ability to disable specific user accounts via a profile setting.</p>
<p>Once installed and activated, a checkbox appears on the user profile settings (only for admins). When checked, the users account will be disabled and they will be unable to login with the account. If they try to login, they are instantly logged out and redirected to the login page with a message that notifies them their account is disabled.</p>
<p>This can be useful in a few situations.</p>

<li>You are working on a site for a client who has an account, but do not want him to login and/or make changes during development.</li>
<li>You have a client who has an unpaid invoice.</li>

I've used this plugin on several sites for years, and this week was the first time it's ever caused a problem. The developer had a fix ready within 24 hours. I'll continue to use this plugin in confidence. Thanks for such a dependable plugin!

One very weird thing about WordPress is how pervasive comments are, for example a robot can comment on an image in the media library. That comment is never seen on the website but has to be moderated by the site owner.

This plugin solves that issue and of course is great for turning of comments on posts and pages for sites that don't want comments. Again wordpress is a bit weird because while you can turn off comments on new posts, older posts are harder deal with - all solved by this excellent plugin.

Fills a big need
