Display Posts allows you easily list content from all across your website. Start by adding this shortcode in the content editor to display a list of your most recent posts:

Filter by Category
To only show posts within a certain category, use the category parameter:

List Popular Posts 
You can highlight your popular content in multiple ways. If you want to feature the posts with the most comments, use:

You can also list <a href="https://displayposts.com/2019/01/04/most-popular-posts-by-social-shares/" rel="nofollow ugc">most popular posts by social shares</a>.
Include thumbnails, excerpts, and more 
The <a href="https://displayposts.com/docs/parameters/#display-parameters" rel="nofollow ugc">display parameters</a> let you control what information is displayed for each post. To include an image and summary, use:

You can use any image size added by WordPress (thumbnail, medium, medium_large, large) OR any custom image size added by your theme or other plugins.
Sort the list however you like 
By default the listing will list the newest content first, but you can order by title, menu order, relevance, content type, metadata, and more.
List upcoming events 
You can easily list upcoming events from any event calendar. Each plugin will require slightly different code.

I have hardly any page that does not use this plugin to display information extracted from posts. By using its hooks, I am able to generate carousels, accordions, and lists of posts for alerts, news, faqs, fundraisers, booking calendar, events, testimonials, and so on.

If you don’t want your debug output to be enclosed in PRE tags, simply set the following in your extension:

Retrieve saved queries and execution time by using the following static properties:

There are a few filters you can use to customize Debug This to your needs:

<li><code>debug_this_default_mode</code> – receives $mode arg – Alters the mode for the parent DT admin bar button link.</li>
<li><code>debug_this_output</code> – receives $output, $mode args – Filter debug content before it’s rendered</li>

<h4>JavaScript</h4>
To access the built-in Debug This JS functionality, enqueue your custom script with the dependency set to <code>debug-this</code>. Your script will inherit a jQuery dependency.
