<h4>Purpose</h4>
<p>This plugin notifies post/page author by email of comments posted through the<br />
<a href="https://wordpress.org/plugins/disqus-comment-system/" rel="ugc">Disqus Comment System</a> plugin even if the author is not an admin of the Disqus account used for the site.</p>
<p>In other words, this plugin implements the same notification functionality that WordPress ships with out of the box but which is disabled by using the Disqus Comment System.</p>

<p>Confirmed to work with (and to also be needed with) at least Disqus Comment System versions 2.74-2.84.</p>

Disqus Notify Post/Page Author

If using Disqus, the authors of posts/pages do not get notified of comments if they're not Disqus moderators. This plugin fixes that.

<p>This will create a new widget which will display your most popular posts and pages based on comment count with Disqus. Alternatively, you can use a shortcode as well.</p>
<p>It’s very simple to use. Just drag the widget into a sidebar and configure it, or visit the settings under the WordPress Settings menu.</p>
<p><strong>Just Some of the Options:</strong></p>

<li>Show featured image.</li>
<li>Choose featured image size.</li>
<li>Choose featured image alignment.</li>
<li>Show the post date.</li>
<li>Select how many days to check, IE: past 90 days.</li>
<li>Set how many posts to show.</li>
<li>Save the results for faster loading.</li>
<li>Load results using Ajax. Perfect to avoid caching results.</li>
