<h3>Setup</h3>
<ol>
<li>Upload and activate the plugin ZIP in WordPress.</li>
<li>Go to Stripe Donations in the WordPress admin menu.</li>
<li>Add your Stripe Payment Link URL.</li>
<li>In Stripe, create the Payment Link using “Customers choose what to pay”.</li>
<li>Add a custom field for Gift Aid. Recommended key: gift_aid.</li>
<li>Copy the webhook URL from the plugin settings.</li>
<li>In Stripe Dashboard > Developers > Webhooks, add the webhook endpoint.</li>
<li>Select the event: checkout.session.completed.</li>
<li>Copy the Stripe webhook signing secret, starting whsec_, into the plugin settings.</li>
<li>Add [stripe_donation_button] to the website page.</li>

<p>This plugin does not create Stripe Checkout Sessions itself. It is intentionally designed for Stripe Payment Links so the donor can enter the amount and choose Gift Aid on the Stripe-hosted page.</p>
