The plugin filters WooCommerce’s price HTML on single product pages and replaces it with a structured markup block containing:

<h3>Tax Configuration Requirements</h3>
This plugin relies entirely on WooCommerce’s built-in tax system. It does not calculate or guess tax values on its own.
To ensure prices are displayed correctly, the following must be in place:
<ul>
<li>Tax must be enabled in WooCommerce settings</li>
<li>At least one tax rate must be configured</li>
<li>Each product must have the correct tax status and tax class assigned</li>
</ul>
Once tax is enabled globally, WooCommerce will typically apply the Standard tax rate to products by default. You should review each product’s tax settings to ensure accuracy.
From the product editor, check the Product data panel and confirm:

<li>Tax status is set to “Taxable”</li>
<li>The correct tax class is selected (Standard, Reduced, Zero rate, or a custom class)</li>
</ul>
The plugin will only display inclusive and exclusive prices for products that are marked as taxable. 
If tax is disabled for a product, only a single price will be shown.
Correct tax configuration is essential to ensure prices are displayed accurately.

The plugin outputs fully classed HTML with no inline styles.

The customers to declare tax exemption status on WooCommerce checkout, and provide tax / VAT exemption details with this.
This is useful if you have some customers that are eligible to be exempt from tax on your products, for example for the purpose of disability VAT exemption or charity VAT relief.
<h3>Getting Started</h3>
Simply install the “Tax Exemption plugin for WooCommerce” plugin, and visit the “Tax Exemption” settings page under “WooCommerce” in the WordPress admin.
Configure the plugin settings as required:
<ul>
<li>Enable or disable the tax exemption feature.</li>
<li>Select the tax class to use for the Tax / VAT exemption.</li>
<li>Select the location on checkout to display the tax exemption fields.</li>
<li>Enable or disable removal of tax on shipping for exempt customers.</li>
<li>Enable or disable the tax exemption fields on the “My Account” page.</li>
<li>Customise the text/labels used throughout the plugin.</li>
</ul>
Your customers will then be able to select the “I want to claim tax exemption” checkbox on the checkout page, and enter their tax exemption details.
Tax will be removed from their order if this is checked and they have entered their details successfully.
If an order is marked as tax / VAT exempt, this will be shown on the admin order details page, where you can see the tax exempt details.
