The Dynamic Year Block will automatically update the copyright year in your website footer. At the turn of each year, the number will automatically change to reflect the current year, freeing you from manually editing the year every new year’s eve.
The plugin works for both classic and block themes, but it is especially useful in the context of the Site Editor, where you can visually change the footer template part without messing with code. Just insert the Dynamic Year Block, enter your copyright notice and you’re done. 💪

⚠️ Important: please configure your timezone in “Settings → General → Timezone” in your WordPress dashboard, so that the year displayed by the block matches your server time and the timezone set in WordPress.

I’ve been using this plugin for a while now, and it’s been a real game-changer for adding copyright info to my footer.

This plugin makes it easy to create a drop down list of years. This plugin is compatible with Advanced Custom Fields 4 and 5.
A few example use cases:

<li>Selecting credit card expiry</li>
<li>Setting a minimum age (18, 21)</li>
<li>Choose year graduated (option for user to choose Current)</li>
<li>Selecting a decade </li>
<li>And many more!</li>

This plugin has a wide range of options to give you a range of possibilities of creating a year dropdown.
Plugin’s features:

<li>Set the date range relative to number of years before (or after) the current year (i.e. – from current year to 5 years in the future).</li>
<li>Set the date range between exactly 2 years (i.e. – from 1900 – 2016)</li>
<li>Set the incremental step between the range (5 years, 10 years)</li>
<li>Order dates in chronological or reverse chronological order</li>
<li>Allow the user to set the year as “Current” (or any variation of the term)</li>

ACF: Dynamic Year Select Field

Great ACF plugin. Couple of little bugs, e.g. in the Edit Field Group page this field trys to stop the Update button action by saying that the page has changed when it shouldn't. Also this field isn't compatible by the ACF Add-on for Admin Columns Pro which means that this field can't be edited using Admin Columns Pro Inline Edit function.
