<p>The <strong>Dynamic Year Block</strong> will automatically update the copyright year in your website footer. At the turn of each year, the number will automatically change to reflect the current year, freeing you from manually editing the year every new year’s eve.</p>
<p>The plugin works for both classic and block themes, but it is especially useful in the context of the <strong>Site Editor</strong>, where you can visually change the footer template part without messing with code. Just insert the Dynamic Year Block, enter your copyright notice and you’re done. 💪</p>

<p>Please note that some plugins strip shortcodes or disable rendering of shortcodes. In such cases, it’s impossible to implement dynamic dates without rewriting the whole plugin code and breaking a couple of things. But still, I’ll give a try.</p>

Dynamic Month & Year into Posts

Plugin does exactly what it says, nothing more and nothing less.

Simple and useful plugin

Great plugin but I did notice two issues.

1) The WebPage name in Yoast Schema doesn't get processed correctly. You can fix that with this:

2) If you use the Grow Social by Mediavine plugin then the meta tags will not be processed correctly either (will just show [year] etc). An easy fix is to check the option "Disable Open Graph Meta Tags" in Grow Social's settings. Since I'm using Yoast I don't think it was really doing anything anyways.

It solves the problme for recuring posts.
