<p>Featured Image via URL is a plugin to generate the featured image of post from the image url specified.<br />
The image will be fetched back and saved into the Media Library with all supported sizes.<br />
If the featured image is already present, the plugin will do nothing.</p>
<p>This plugin is modified from Auto Post Thumbnail by adityamooley.</p>

<p>ECAE only works on themes that call <code>the_content()</code> or <code>the_excerpt()</code> on home, search & archive pages. ECAE does not support themes that use custom functions to display excerpt, like Total, OceanWP, Writee, and Customizr.</p>

<li>Customize the settings according to your need.</li>
<li>To remove read more link, fill read more text with “-” (without quote)</li>
