This plugin was created to retrieve and cache an RSS feed for use in a template.
What you do is pass the url to the feed you would like returned and the number of minutes you would like the feed cached for. The 
plugin will cache the RSS xml and return the feed as an object which you can loop through and output however you please.

<h3>General Usage</h3>
fetch_feed_cache() is the only function you will be using with this plugin. fetch_feed_cache() accepts 2 parameters.
<ol>
<li>(string) $url – This is the URL to the feed you would like to parse</li>
<li>(int) $cache_min – This is the amount of time in minutes you would like the feed cached for.</li>
</ol>
Here is an example of the plugin being used in a template:

Remeber, every feed could be different. If you need to see the structure of the object returned just use print_r().

Automatic Custom Content
For each of the automatic inclusion methods (WP Posts and RSS Feeds), you can specify where you would like to display the custom content:

<li>Do not display (disable)</li>
</ul>
Post-Specific Custom Content
Here is a summary of the SCC Shortcodes, which may be used to display your custom content based on where it is viewed:

<li><code>[scs_post]</code> – display custom content for single posts</li>
<li><code>[scs_feed]</code> – display custom content for RSS feeds</li>
<li><code>[scs_both]</code> – display custom content for single posts & feeds</li>
<li><code>[scs_alt]</code> – displays content wherever shortcode is included</li>
</ul>
Dynamic Post Shortcodes
Customize your content with any of the following post variables:

%%title%% = Post Title
%%author%% = Post Author
%%permalink%% = Post URL
%%year%% = Current year

You can use any of these shortcut variables in any of your custom content. More info provided in the plugin settings.
