<p>Search tool helper to find text on page. Can be used a a sidebar widget to cover any volume of text either on the page or in the content of the article itself. This is set as a default to find text specifically that is in a single post article. You can expand this by changing the name of the CSS class that your searchable text is enclosed in.</p>
<p>Let us say you are wanting to include the sidebars and the header and the footer of the page as part of your search. In this case, you would change the name of the Wrapper Class to the same name as your body class for example, in which the body tag element would get a new data type of “data-finder-content” once you save your Wrapper Class name to the plugin Options Settings page.</p>
<p>Helps your readers find text on the page if articles are long. Can also be used as a writting developer tool to count keywords in an article.</p>

Must-have for Gutenberg design/development

For example, if you want to use has_block you need to know it's name, which can be difficult to find. This plugin lists them all out, every one you've used, anywhere on a site.

I had installed many sets of blocks to try out and ended up with a lot of overlap of block types and a mess of using a few blocks from one plugin, and a few from another, and a few more from others. Find My Blocks gave me a way to clean up the mess without the risk of removing blocks that content depended on.

This plugin is simply amazing.


This is one of those plugins you never knew you needed until you found it. I build large sites with complex custom block libraries and it does exactly what it says on the tin - it helps me find all the blocks across the site and, more importantly, shows me which blocks are not being used.



Grade A plugin - if you build large bespoke WP sites using vanilla or custom blocks, this is a must have.
