<h3>Theme translation</h3>
<p>Finally, updating theme translation files is now supported! To download the translation files for a theme:</p>
<ol>
<li>Activate the theme you want to get the translation files.</li>
<li>Visit ‘Appearance’ > ‘Update translation’ in WordPress menu, or click ‘Update translation’ on theme details of current theme on ‘Themes’ page.</li>
</ol>
<h3>Plugin translation</h3>
<p>To download the translation files for a plugin:</p>
<ol>
<li>Visit ‘Plugins’ in WordPress menu.</li>
<li>Click ‘Update translation’ under the name of the plugin for which you want to get the translation files.</li>
</ol>

When I translate plugins or themes I need to see partial translations to check I'm doing right. Exporting .mo files was boring me... just when I found this plugin!

Bad description of the features in the readme: no possibility to import translations for themes.

False advertisement

I am so glad to find this plugin. We have international users for our plugin that help out by submitting translations. The problem is, there is no way for them to use the translations until it goes through a formal approval process.

This is a wonderful solution, we can point our users to this plugin so they can use the translations right away.

<p>The plugin allows building multilingual <a href="https://wordpress.org/plugins/buddypress/" rel="ugc">BuddyPress</a> and <a href="https://www.buddyboss.com/" rel="nofollow ugc">BuddyBoss</a> sites with <a href="http://wpml.org/" rel="nofollow ugc">WPML</a>. It works with single-site or multi-site installations. Both the main site and child blogs can run multilingual.</p>
<p>Guest blogs can choose their language and create multilingual contents. Additionally, each guest can choose the admin language individually .</p>

<li>WPML 4.5.x or higher. You must enable ‘languages per directories’ or ‘languages per domain’.</li>
