Disable Comments – Remove Comments & Stop Spam [Multi-Site Support]

I've used this plugin on several sites for years, and this week was the first time it's ever caused a problem. The developer had a fix ready within 24 hours. I'll continue to use this plugin in confidence. Thanks for such a dependable plugin!

One very weird thing about WordPress is how pervasive comments are, for example a robot can comment on an image in the media library. That comment is never seen on the website but has to be moderated by the site owner.

This plugin solves that issue and of course is great for turning of comments on posts and pages for sites that don't want comments. Again wordpress is a bit weird because while you can turn off comments on new posts, older posts are harder deal with - all solved by this excellent plugin.
