<li>Exchange and store a site-specific shared secret used to authorize incoming publish requests.</li>

<p>What data is sent and when:</p>

<li>When you click <strong>Connect to Genseo</strong>, the plugin sends the API key you entered, your WordPress site URL, and the local publish endpoint URL to Genseo.</li>
<li>During normal publishing, Genseo sends post content to your plugin endpoint on this site (<code>/wp-json/genseo/v1/publish</code>).</li>
<li>The plugin does not send visitor analytics or tracking data to Genseo.</li>
