<p>Yet another plugin for ordering posts? YES!</p>
<p>This plugin makes it possible to adjust the global order of posts from different post types. Basically, it tries to get together the best functionalities of the superb plugins <a href="https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/postmash/" rel="ugc">postMash</a> and <a href="https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/simple-page-ordering/" rel="ugc">Simple Page Ordering</a>. <em>Global Posts Ordering</em> uses the stand-alone admin options page of postMash for globally setting the order of posts and the very cool AJAX approach of ‘Simple Page Ordering’. Best you test it yourself and see if it fits your needs.</p>
<h4>Please Note:</h4>
<p>The major use of this plugin is for mixing posts from differen post types in overview pages that only use the first level of hierarchical posts (e.g. “Books”, “DVDs”, “Records”).</p>

<p>When you install this plugin and enable the Earth Day Live widget via Settings in your WordPress admin, it will show a footer banner (<a href="https://widget.earthdaylive2020.org/demo.html" rel="nofollow ugc">demo</a>) informing visitors that your site is supporting Earth Day Live and directs them to sign up:</p>

<p>Then at midnight on September 20th for 24 hours, the banner will expand to be full screen (<a href="https://widget.earthdaylive2020.org/demo.html?fullPage" rel="nofollow ugc">demo</a>), showing that your site is joining Earth Day Live for the day, directing them to join:</p>

<p>For those who cannot shut down their website for the day, a closable overlay option can also be configured (<a href="https://widget.earthdaylive2020.org/demo.html?fullPage&showCloseButton" rel="nofollow ugc">demo</a>):</p>

<p>The widget is designed to appear once per user, per device, per day, but can be configured to display at a different interval.</p>
<p>The widget is compatible with Firefox, Chrome (desktop and mobile), Safari (desktop and mobile), Microsoft Edge, and Internet Explorer 11.</p>
<p>There are a number of ways to customize the widget in the WordPress Settings admin section.  It provides details on what each option does.</p>
<h3>Note on 3rd party software</h3>
<p>This this plugin relies on 3rd party software (https://widget.earthdaylive2020.org/widget.js), in order for your website to join Earth Day Live with the banner. You need to activelty enable the widget via Settings->Earth Day Live Settings, before this script is added to your website.</p>
