<p><strong>Important Notice:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Gravity Forms v.1.9 introduced HTML5 Placeholders and field label visiblity features. As of v.1.9.1 field label visibility feature is hidden by default and can be enabled using:</strong></p>
<p>**add_filter( ‘gform_enable_field_label_visibility_settings’, ‘__return_true’ ); **</p>
<p>This plugin is <strong>NOT</strong> compatible and will not be supported with Gravity Forms 1.9 and above.</p>
<p>The plugin extends the default Gravity Forms form editor to support native HTML5 placeholders and label management.</p>
<p>It allows you to define placeholders for a wide variety of build-in fields and to customize field labels & sublabels by either overriding the default with your own and/or allowing you to hide them individually.</p>
<p>Javascript fallback is used for old browsers that don’t support the HTML5 placeholder attribute.</p>
<p>It is fully compatible with WPML for placeholder and label translation using the Gravity Forms Multilingual plugin.</p>

<ul>
<li>Imports languages and WPML options (when the same options exist in Polylang).</li>
<li>Imports posts and terms languages as well as translations (including for custom post types and custom taxonomies).</li>
<li>Imports multilingual nav menus.</li>

<li>Does not delete WPML data.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Important</h4>
<p>Although WPML data should not be corrupted, as Polylang data are created without deleting anything, <strong>make a database backup before proceeding</strong>.</p>
<h4>How to proceed?</h4>
<ul>
<li>De-activate WPML</li>
<li>Activate Polylang or <a href="https://polylang.pro" rel="nofollow ugc">Polylang Pro</a> and WPML to Polylang. Do <strong>not</strong> create any language with Polylang (they will be imported).</li>
<li>Go to Tools -> WPML Importer.</li>
<li>If all checks are passed, then you can click on ‘Import’.</li>
<li>De-activate WPML to Polylang (You can even delete it).</li>
<li>Setup a language switcher either as a widget or in nav menus.</li>
<li>Check that everything is OK.</li>
<li>If something went wrong and you want to revert to WPML, you can delete Polylang using the red link in the Plugins table. To delete all data created for Polylang, Please read <a href="https://polylang.pro/doc/how-to-uninstall-polylang/" rel="nofollow ugc">how</a> <strong>before</strong> deleting Polylang. Finally you can re-activate WPML.</li>

<h4>Notes</h4>
<p>This plugin does not include error management. It has however been tested successfully to migrate a site with about 9,000 posts and media.</p>
