What data is sent, when, and why:
<ul>
<li>On connect (when the site admin clicks “Connect IllumiChat” in WooCommerce → IllumiChat): the configured Assistant ID, the store URL, and — via the WooCommerce wc-auth/v1/authorize consent flow approved by the admin — WooCommerce REST API Consumer Key and Consumer Secret are transmitted to https://app.illumichat.com so that IllumiChat can read products, orders, and customers from the store on the admin’s behalf.</li>
<li>On every storefront page view (when the widget is enabled and visitor consent is satisfied): the visitor’s browser fetches the chat widget loader from https://app.illumichat.com/api/woocommerce/widget-loader/. The request includes only standard browser headers; no personal data is appended by the plugin.</li>
<li>During a chat session (when a storefront visitor types a message into the widget): the message text and minimal session/context data are sent from the visitor’s browser to https://app.illumichat.com for AI processing and reply.</li>
<li>Webhook callbacks (asynchronous, server-to-server): when product/order/customer data changes in WooCommerce, your WordPress site posts the WooCommerce webhook payload to https://app.illumichat.com so IllumiChat’s grounding data stays in sync.</li>
</ul>
All transport is over HTTPS. The admin can revoke the connection at any time from WooCommerce → IllumiChat (which clears the stored Assistant ID) or from WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API (which revokes the Consumer Key/Secret).

This plugin relies on the ILACHAT cloud service (main site <code>https://ila.chat</code> and API at <code>https://app.ila.chat</code>) to operate the chatbot, live chat, and data syncing. <li>Account connection and widget: When you connect the plugin, your site URL and the ILACHAT token are sent to validate the account. The chat widget script is loaded from ila.chat and app.ila.chat, and chat messages plus any files or text entered in the widget are sent to ILACHAT to generate replies.</li>
<li>Content sync: When enabled, posts, pages, and custom post types send their title, author display name, featured image URL, permalink, excerpt, categories/tags, and cleaned body text to ILACHAT whenever content is created or updated. Deleting content sends a delete flag so it is removed from your ILACHAT knowledge base.</li>
<li>WooCommerce products (optional): If enabled, product data (name, short/long description, category names, attributes, price with currency, availability, image URLs, variations, and priority) is sent to ILACHAT to power product recommendations. Out-of-stock items are only synced if you enable that option.</li>
<li>WooCommerce order tracking (optional): If enabled, the plugin shares a secret link with ILACHAT so it can call back to your site for order details when a user asks. Returned data can include order totals/status, billing/shipping contact details, items, customer-visible notes, and any special notes you add, limited by the settings you choose (you can require phone/email checks).</li>
<li>Lead collection (optional): If enabled, the widget pre-fills the logged-in user’s name, email, and phone so they are sent to ILACHAT together with the conversation.</li>
<li>Control and disconnection: You can disable lead collection, product/category sync, and order tracking from the settings pages, hide the widget entirely, or disconnect the plugin. Disconnecting removes the stored token and stops further calls from the plugin to ILACHAT.</li>
