<a href="https://www.invoiceboo.com/" title="Invoices for WooCommerce" rel="nofollow ugc">InvoiceBoo</a> is a small and simple plugin which allows an easy way of providing WooCommerce customers with Invoices.
<h3>Checkout first and ask Business details later</h3>
InvoiceBoo allows to keep checkout process short as customers can provide company details (e.g., company name, reg. number, VAT) required for the Invoice after the order has been placed. This not only provides a faster checkout, but also minimizes <a href="https://www.cartbounty.com/" title="Abandoned cart recovery" rel="nofollow ugc">cart abandonment</a> and can increase sales 🤑.
Once the order is placed and is assigned any of the selected WooCommerce order statuses (“Processing”, “Completed”, “On Hold” etc.), customer receives a unique link to their Invoice page where they can include additional business details that are required for accounting purposes. From here customers can Print and Download their invoices as PDF documents.
If an order is refunded, a Credit Note will be available for download, ensuring customers can access both the original invoice and the credit note.
This plugin can be especially useful for businesses selling virtual or downloadable products as they do not require shipping options.
<h3>For guests and registered customers</h3>
InvoiceBoo does not require customers to be registered or signed in to view, update or download their invoices. Guest customers will be able to easily view the Invoice, add custom business details and save it.
Customers can find their Invoices in the following areas:

<li>WooCommerce Thank you page</li>
<li>My Account > Orders page if the user has an account</li>
</ul>
Business details are kept inside a single text area field to improve customer experience and allow faster data input.
<h3>Administration options and settings</h3>
There aren’t many configuration options and the setup is quite simple. Store administrators can:

<li>Select order statuses after which the Invoice is generated</li>
<li>Tailor visual appearance of the Invoice to match your brand identity by customizing colors, fonts and adding company logo</li>

Since we love to keep everything clean and efficient, InvoiceBoo will automatically clean up after itself once you deactivate and delete it from your store (all database options and tables created by Invoiceboo will be removed). We believe that we must clean after ourselves both in life and digital realm 🙃.

InvoiceBoo is still young and we do know that there are features that might be missing. INVOICE GATEWAY FOR WOOCOMMERCE – AN EASY INVOICE PAYMENT GATEWAY SOLUTION
Add a WooCommerce invoice gateway option for your customers on the checkout. The invoice payment gateway lets your customers checkout without paying and you can invoice separately via your Xero, Quickbooks, MYOB, Reckon Online, or other accounting package.
There’s no integration required, you just invoice as you normally would, the plugin lets you record the invoice number which gets added to the customer’s WooCommerce invoice email.
Orders get created in Processing status and from there you can generate a separate invoice from your accounting system to have your customer pay outside of WooCommerce.
Once you have been paid just add the invoice number to the order then change the Order status to Completed.
It’s perfect for situations like wholesale selling where customers are often reluctant to pay large orders online. It’s very similar to a WooCommerce quote at this stage and many people do use it as a quotes gateway.

The WooCommerce invoicing process with Invoice Gateway For WooCommerce:

<li>Customer prepares their order as normal and heads to the checkout.</li>
<li>Customer selects the WooCommerce Invoice gateway as their preferred payment option.</li>
<li>The order goes into the system as “Processing” status – the customer doesn’t pay anything yet.</li>
<li>You, the WooCommerce store owner, send the customer an invoice outside of WooCommerce from your accounting software (such as Xero, Quickbooks, etc).</li>
<li>You go back to the order and insert the “Invoice Number” into the field provided and update the order. The customer will get an email.</li>
<li>The customer pays the invoice directly to you.</li>
<li>When the order is fulfilled, you mark the WooCommerce Order complete (as normal), the customer will see their WooCommerce invoice number on the Completed order email.</li>
