<p>For site owners who want the WP REST API served over SSL always and forever.</p>
<p>All HTTP requests to the WP REST API will be 301 redirected to their HTTPS equivalent.</p>
<p>Also, don’t use this plugin unless you have an SSL certificate as your endpoints will break! 🙂</p>

<p>In the search field type “WP Custom REST API Generator” and click Search Plugins. Once you’ve found this plugin, you can install it by simply clicking “Install Now”.</p>
<h3>Manual installation</h3>
<ol>
<li>Download and unzip the WP Custom REST API Generator plugin</li>
<li>Upload the entire wp-custom-rest-api-generator/ directory to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory</li>
<li>Activate the WP Custom REST API Generator plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress</li>
