Sadly there is NO information as to why or when they were removed from http://opengraphprotocol.org , and http://www.ogp.me/ is returning a server error ( “Heroku | No such app” ).
Paul Tarjan, Software Engineer @ Facebook for the Open Graph protocol is on record as having said:

Pure Web Brilliant's Social Graph: Open Graph extras Extention

Adds personalised Open Graph tags that Facebook proposed, and constantly change their mind about supporting.

Adds classes to
<
p> tags to allow child node selection without CSS3.
<h3>Information</h3>
Adds the following classes to paragraph tags:
<ul>
<li>paragraph-last</li>
<li>paragraph-number-X (e.g. paragraph-number-1)</li>
<li>first-p-since-a-heading</li>
</ul>
This allows for CSS2.1 rules to mimic CSS3 selectors for backward and mobile compatibility.

<li>use “paragraph-last” instead of “p:last-child”</li>
