Retrieve the messages once a user opens the Kreechat widget. It sends the stored kreechat_token and the email of the user to our servers.

When you install the Plugin and create your account at the crisp website you will automatically subscribe to the pro plan which is only for free for 14 days!

So this plugin is not for free until you chance your plan to the basic one.

The advertisement is very irritating. Everywhere they tell you that the chat plugin is free, even on the registration page.

The plugin connects to the crisp server. So the chats will be recorded there. You have to mention this in your privacy policy. Also you have to block loading the chatbox - a lot of cookies and the external script - before the visitor has accepted the cookies. I am not sure if this is possible. So I assume the plugin is not DSGVO compatible although the developer comes from France. 

The service itself works great with the app ecosystem they offer.

I tried to delete my account after testing the service - which is difficult - but it finally worked - you have to delete the website from the crisp dashboard first.
