<h4>How it works</h4>
<ol>
<li>Install and activate the plugin</li>
<li>Go to Laterreta Migrator for Shopify → Settings and enter your Shopify store domain and Storefront API token</li>
<li>Use Laterreta Migrator for Shopify → Dashboard to run the migration</li>
<li>Import categories first, then products (or use “Migrate All” for both)</li>
<li>Multilingual translations (EN/ES/DE/FR) are imported automatically. Image download requires Pro.</li>

<h4>Getting your Shopify Storefront API token</h4>

<li>Log in to your Shopify Admin</li>
<li>Go to Apps → Develop apps → Create an app</li>
<li>Under Configuration → Storefront API enable the required permissions</li>
<li>Under API credentials copy the Storefront API access token</li>

<h3>External Services</h3>
This plugin connects to two external services operated by Shopify:
1. Shopify Storefront API 
Used to fetch product and category data from your Shopify store. A request is made every time you run a migration from the plugin dashboard. 
Data sent: your Shopify store domain and Storefront API access token (credentials you provide in the plugin settings).

2. Shopify CDN (cdn.shopify.com) 
Used to download product images when you run the “Download Images” step. Images are fetched from Shopify’s CDN and stored locally in your WordPress media library. 
Data sent: HTTP GET requests to image URLs returned by the Shopify Storefront API. No personal data is sent.

<li>Shopify has the ability to export customers files, products and orders to CSV, in other words, you open the product page and there you find the button -> Export to CSV. 
You find the same thing on the pages of customers and orders, as a result we have different files exported to 3 types of data.</li>
<li>install the migration plugin on your website</li>
<li>The developer enters the admin area – into the tools and selects this plugin and there he sees 3 tabs: Import Products, Import Customers, Import Orders.</li>

<li>Then the developer clicks the “Import Customers” button and all buyers from the file are inserted into the wordpress or updated. The same actions can be done with orders and with products.</li>
