<p>Want to create a column-based layout with easily customizable column-width and positions? Or perhaps you want to align your content to a global layout grid across your post. With this Layout Grid block you can do both or either. There are also options to provide specific layouts to mobile or tablet breakpoints. Pick a number of columns (1-4), then go ahead and resize and position each column as you want them to look, for any screen. Optionally apply background colours and paddings to add emphasis.</p>

Layout Grid Block

Started using this block layout on a WordPress.com site as it was just there by default, then when I realised it wasn't available on my WordPress sites, I had to go get it. Very handy layout...

Very handy layout

Already working really well. It's clean and solid and intuitive. I'm working with it with the Kadence theme and it's excellent. Hope to see this in Gutenberg core soon!

Works really well


The is a more flexible replacement for the standard columns block. If you've ever battled with the standard columns to make multi-column components that adapted at mobile, tablet and desktop then I would definitely recommend this block.

Great block that allows placing and resizing blocks in a more flexible way than the regular columns block. I hope it is continually supported.

<p>This a Gutenberg plugin that adds an outline around each block. Outline settings are based on user meta. Each user can<br />
change the settings according to their needs and it will applied only to their account.</p>
<p>Users can change:</p>
<ul>
<li>When to show outline. On hover or always displayed.</li>
<li>Lock outline for a single block.</li>
<li>Disable outline completely.</li>
<li>Show data (name and class) outside block, inside or floating when hovering over block</li>
<li>Change outline color.</li>
<li>Change outline style to solid, dashed or dotted line</li>

Great work. I've been considering making a similar plugin myself, so I'm glad I found this one before I did. It works well and makes it considerably easier to see where each block is. Especially useful when you have blocks within blocks. i.e. Group -> Columns -> Column -> Paragraph

Makes Gutenberg usable
