It’s needed to enable gift card redemption on your store, enable gift card purchases and customization on your store, issue store credit from the order detail page and to show gift cards on the plugin’s dashboard.</p>

<h4>Build instructions</h4>
<p>This plugin uses <a href="https://www.npmjs.com/package/@wordpress/scripts" rel="nofollow ugc">@wordpress/scripts</a> (webpack-based) to compile the JavaScript and CSS. To build the assets from source:</p>
<ol>
<li>Make sure you have <a href="https://nodejs.org/" rel="nofollow ugc">Node.js</a> 16 or later and npm installed.</li>
<li>From the plugin root directory, install the build dependencies:<br />
   npm install</li>
<li>Build the compiled assets:<br />
   npm run build</li>
<li>For development with live reloading, use:<br />
   npm run start</li>
</ol>
<p>The <code>npm run build</code> command will compile all sources in <code>assets/js/</code> and <code>blocks/js/</code> into the <code>build/</code> directory.</p>
