<p>Mi13 Cache is a simple and effective plugin for caching WordPress pages. It saves HTML pages as files and serves them on subsequent requests, significantly speeding up site loading.</p>

Configure the settings:

    Select page types to cache (home page, posts, pages, categories, archives, custom types).

    Set the cache lifetime (in seconds; default is 86 400 s / 24 hours).

    Clear the cache manually using the Clear Cache button (if needed).

Save the settings.

<p>You can check the cache status in the page source code:</p>

<p>Caching does not apply to:</p>

the admin panel;

404 pages;

search pages (?s=...);

RSS feeds (/feed/);

AJAX requests;

POST requests;

<p>Issue: the cache is not created.<br />
Solution: make sure that:</p>

WordPress has write permissions for /wp-content/cache/mi13-cache/.

Solution: manually clear the cache on the settings page.</p>

Simple Cache

I had this plugin on about 30 sites two years ago, but have since removed it, one by one, because of bad experiences of many kinds. The last was removed today, after site crashed due to fatal error in caused by the last update to this plugin.

When deactivating it also puts DEFINE('WP_ACHE', false); at the top of wp-config.php. This is bad and makes trouble using another cache plugin, unless this line is manually removed.

I can not recommend this plugin. Be aware of the thing mentioned above, when uninstalling to try out another.
