<p>MLX Cookie Consent is a lightweight, developer-friendly cookie consent solution built by Modulux.</p>
<p>It provides the technical tools to control when scripts and embedded content load based on user consent.<br />
When configured and used correctly, it can support compliance efforts for GDPR, ePrivacy, UK GDPR,<br />
and similar regulations.</p>
<p>This plugin does not automatically make your site legally compliant.<br />
You are responsible for correctly classifying scripts, providing accurate information,<br />
and maintaining proper privacy and cookie policy pages.</p>

<p>MLX Cookie Consent is multilingual-ready and works with WPML or Polylang via String Translation.<br />
All user-facing texts (titles, descriptions, buttons, category labels) can be translated per language.</p>
<h3>External Services</h3>
<p>This plugin does not connect to any external or third-party services by default.</p>
<p>MLX Cookie Consent does not send data to external servers, does not load remote scripts, and does not perform any tracking on its own.</p>
<p>The plugin provides a technical mechanism that allows site administrators to conditionally load third-party scripts (such as analytics, maps, fonts, or captcha services) after obtaining user consent.</p>
<p>Any external services (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Maps, reCAPTCHA) are:<br />
– Added manually by the site administrator<br />
– Loaded only after explicit user consent<br />
– Fully controlled and configured by the site owner</p>
<p>MLX Cookie Consent does not transmit any data to these services itself. Any data transmission is performed directly between the visitor’s browser and the third-party service, according to the configuration and privacy policies of that service.</p>

<p>The library is included locally with the plugin and does not perform any network requests or data transmission by itself.</p>
