Multiple Domain allows you having more than one domain in a single WordPress installation. This plugin doesn’t support 
more than one theme or advanced customizations for each domain. It’s only intended to enable constant navigation under 
many domains. For a more complex setup, there is 
<a href="https://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network" rel="nofollow ugc">WordPress Multisite (MU)</a>.
When there is more than one domain set in your host, all links and resources will point to the default domain. This is 
the default WordPress behavior. With Multiple Domain installed and properly configured, it’ll update all link on the 
fly. This way, the user navigation will be end-to-end under the same domain.
You can also set an optional base URL. If you want only a set of URL’s available under a given domain, you can use this 
restriction.
Additionally, a language can be set for each domain. The language will be used to add <code><link></code> tags with <code>hreflang</code> 
attribute to document head. This is for SEO purposes.

Does this plugin work on multisite installation?

For example, if I appoint both abc.com & def.com to the same wp multisite installation, then

Main site: 
  abc.com = def.com
Sub sites:
  123.abc.com = 123.def.com
  456.abc.com = 456.def.com
  ...

Something like this.

Is it multisite compatible?

There are time, you would wish to maintain a seperate domain/subdomain for Dashboard area to securely access. This plugin let you access while properly rewriting internal links to selected domain. The author of this plugin is highly responsive. Thank you so much.

Update slug structure, change domains, remove/add slashes or add extensions (.html, .php or anything you want) etc.
<pre><code>PS. While this gives you freedom to play with permalinks, you should know that you have to make those link structures work with your themes yourself.

For example if your theme is installed on subdomain1.domain.com, changing permalink to subdomain2.domain.com will break the existing links and you have to move your theme manually to subdomain2.domain.com to make it work.
