<p>My Reading Library is a very heavy modification of the <a href="http://blog.ashodnakashian.com/projects/now-reading-redux/" title="Now Reading Redux" rel="nofollow ugc">Now Reading Redux plugin by Ashod Nakashian</a> which is a resurrection of the <a href="http://heliologue.com/" title="Now Reading Reloaded" rel="nofollow ugc">Now Reading Reloaded plugin by Ben Gunnink</a> which is a fork of the <a href="http://robm.me.uk/projects/plugins/wordpress/now-reading/" title="Now Reading Plugin" rel="nofollow ugc">Now Reading plugin by Rob Miller</a>.</p>
<p>It allows you to develop a library, show the book details, track your progress, rate the book, and link to a WP post of your book review. It displays the library within the sidebar and on the library/book page with cover art fetched from Amazon.</p>

<h4>Disclaimer</h4>
<p>Please backup your database before installing/upgrading. Thought I attempt to releases bug-free plugins (which is very difficult), my ability to perform tests is limited. If you find any bugs or have feature requests, please kindly report them in the Support Forum within my website.</p>

<li>Pull total pages of book from Amazon and set as property on book edit page.</li>
<li>Use calendar UI for dates on the book edit page.</li>
<li>Set number of books displayed in each widget book category.</li>

<h3>Known Bugs</h3>
<ul>
<li>In the book manager, the Title and Reader columns will not sort properly when the title is clicked</li>
<li>The integration with the Twenty Eleven WP Theme is inconsistent and buggy</li>
<li>Total books setting in options does not effect onhold books</li>
</ul>

My Reading Library

Displays books in the sidebar and library/book page with cover art fetched from amazon.com; displays book details, progress, ratings, and reviews.

<p>This is a “set it and forget it” widget which allows you to display shelves and reading progress from your Goodreads profile. You can add multiple widgets and configure them individually to show multiple shelves.</p>
<p>Some configuration options:</p>
<ul>
<li>Large/small cover images</li>
<li>Message to display if shelf is empty</li>
<li>Sort books by reading progress, date updated, shelf position, author, title, etc.</li>
<li>Number of books to display</li>
<li>Display your rating</li>
<li>Show first line of your Goodreads review (intended for quick notes such as “reading this together with Alice”, “recommended by Bob”, links to reviews, or whatever else strikes you fancy)</li>
<li>Show reading progress bar, progress text (no bar) or don’t show progress at all</li>
<li>Display time since last update (e.g. “2 days ago”)</li>
<li>Custom strings for time since last update (e.g. for quick and easy translating, or to change “2 days ago” to “2 floobargles since last update”)</li>
</ul>
<p>Almost all HTML elements have dedicated CSS classes to allow you to easily override the style. The widget looks OK on the most popular WordPress themes.</p>
<p>Requires PHP 5.4 or later (PHP 7 supported).</p>
