Network Site Names lets you add custom site names to be shown in the admin bar menu. Site names can be used to identify each site with a different name while using the same Blog Title in the front end. This is useful for Multilanguage or Corporative networks where many sites may need the same title.
This plugin is so small and simple that it can be installed as a <a href="https://codex.wordpress.org/Must_Use_Plugins" title="Must Use Plugins" rel="nofollow ugc">Must Use Plugin</a> without having to worry about updates. Read the Installation section for instructions.

Sort My Sites lets you change the ordering of the My Sites menu on the dashboard and in the admin bar.
Options:

<li>Sort by None, Site ID, Site Name, Domain, Site Path, Site URL</li>
<li>Case Sensitive Sorting</li>
<li>Keep the primary site at the top of the list</li>
</ul>
